Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the full-time Contracts Administrator will draft, review, and negotiate contracts while facilitating the contract process in a remote environment, ensuring compliance with university policies and collaborating with various departments. Key responsibilities Manage an assigned queue of contract requests and serve as the primary contact for internal departments throughout the contract lifecycle Perform technical reviews of contracts for compliance and lead negotiations with suppliers to mitigate risks and protect university assets Administer the contract management system and create training materials for university staff regarding contract processes and tools Required qualifications Three or more years of relevant experience in contracts administration or related field Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree Understanding of contract law and experience with contract negotiation Familiarity with accounting, finance, and marketing as they relate to procurement Experience with contracts software and strong technology skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
